Motter Ombra in use for two early Gradwohl bakeries in Vienna, Austria, which was also the place where Motter Ombra’s designer, Othmar Motter, had studied. Together with two of his fellow students, Hans Kaiser and Sylvester Lička, he set up the studio Vorarlberger Grafik in his home town Hard in 1952.
