Beer labels for Brewery 129 designed and illustrated by Jordan T. Bell. Bell is one of the type designers behind Hoefler & Co’s Inkwell type series, a set of typefaces that are rooted in handwriting and lettering. The fine print on the right hand is set in Inkwell Sans, Open and Blackletter. Brewery 129's logo is set in Knockout, another extensive type system by Hoefler & Co. On his blog – with all text set in Inkwell Serif – Bell writes:
As a type designer I am always thinking in black & white (which is evident in the branding system) but with the labels, I wanted to introduce color and illustration to bring in some of Ryan’s personable character and jolly personality into the visuals for the brewery.
