    Print and wayfinding design for the Akari: Sculpture by Other Means exhibition at the Noguchi Museum in New York City. The unconventional mix of sans serifs was inspired by the ever-evolving look of Akari packaging over the years (as on display in the exhibition). Hand-lettered variations on Futura and Helvetica were often mixed charmingly with typeset versions. 35-FTR has the appealing mix of reading as both contemporary and evoking certain qualities of classic metal typefaces and the hand-lettered “AKARI” logotypes.
