Phuture West Bookings
Phuture West Bookings is a bookings agency from Rotterdam, and we were asked to develop their website. We created a clear landing page where all the attention is focused on the artists.
Because we mainly used type, the typefaces had to define and carry the atmosphere of the website. This became a combination between a characteristic, stylish and legible typeface: Gza with its pointed shapes and drop shaped ball terminals. For navigation and other content we used the modern Suisse Int’l – comparable to Helvetica or Univers, but somewhat more robust in its details.
To get into the mood of their music, each artist can be given their own colour scheme. This is visible when you hover their names on the homepage and shows the variety of the artists.
