An early use of Milton Glaser’s Baby Fat for the cover of the self-titled debut album by The Young Rascals (later known as The Rascals), released in March 1966 on Atlantic Records.

The note about the inclusion of the #1 hit “Good Lovin’” is set in Haas Inserat-Grotesk / Neue Aurora VIII. It was initially added in the form of a sticker. For this later pinting, it was integrated into the cover.

Design by Loring Eutemey, with photography by Jerry Schatzberg. See also the Greatest Hits compilation by The New Christy Minstrels for another example of Baby Fat on a record cover from 1966.
