Chinatown Affair is an independent travel zine that highlights hidden places and local attractions in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown. Located in Jalan Petaling, which is one of the busiest streets in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where thousands of people trying their luck to make a living. I wanted to highlight these people and give a little contribution to the scene there.
The zine is printed using a risograph method. The imperfection and raw results really represent the mood and feel about the culture there. The main typefaces are Dom Diagonal and Maison Mono. The zine has 32 pages plus a bonus map. Printed in three colors on kishu paper and published by Binatang Press.
