Arthur Baker’s Baker Signet (1965), with tight letterspacing and in two colors, for the jacket design for a book about sailing, published by St. Martin’s Press in 1972. The diagram with boats and arrows at the bottom reminds me of instructions for dancing. The back simply repeats the front design – a missed opportunity, especially on this generous landscape format.
