In 1966, Atlantic Records released The Exciting Wilson Pickett, the third album by R&B and soul singer Wilson Pickett. The album propelled four major hits for Pickett, establishing his stature as a prominent ’60s soul act. The album cover, featuring Permanent Headline typography, was designed by Haig Adishian.
