A series of jazz albums released in 1945–1946 by Manhattan Music Corporation – made in Canada and printed in America – with songs by Nick’s Dixieland Jazz Band featuring Miff Mole (A-10), “Muggsy” Spanier (A-20), and “Pee Wee” Russell (A-30), respectively. Nick’s Tavern was a club run by Nick Rongetti at 170 West 10th Street, New York.

Amongst the rather simplistic yellow and black design of the album covers are at least three fonts: the name of the featured artist is set in Robert Middleton’s Tempo Heavy, with much of the secondary text in his Karnak Obelisk. “Printed by Samuel S Sanford” and the information below “Manhattan” is Vogue Extra Bold Oblique and Extra Bold respectively, with a few alternates.
