Filmotype Giant

Part of Filmotype’s “G-series” designed in the early-to-mid 1950s, which included a range of condensed sans serifs (Giant, Gaucho, Grant, Gazette, Galaxy, Gable, Garfield, Gamma, etc.). VGC knocked these off in the 1960s as their “B-series” (see URW Bee). Filmotype Giant was digitized by Patrick Griffin and Rebecca Alaccari in 2011, together with the oblique Filmotype Escort.
