Comes in roman (tondo) and italic (corsivo) styles, accompanied by titling capitals (intestazione) in solid and open/handtooled (filettato) variants, as well as initials [Nebiolo specimen]. Based on types by Erhard Ratdolt. The roman was sourced from Johannes Müller’s Kalendarium, basically unaltered, under the art direction of Raffaello Bertieri. The italic was added by Alessandro Butti [Piccinini].
Claudio Piccinini is working on a digital interpretation that is unreleased as of 2023. Its 14pt size is used for the sample.
