    Leaflet advertising Fra Diavolo (1931) by Mario Bonnard, starring singer Tino Pattiera and actress Brigitte Horney.

    The typeface family in use here is the original metal Belwe-Antiqua (Schelter & Giesecke, 1913). It is quite different from the digital Belwes with their Venetian ‘e’ and the seriffed ‘a’, which appear to be based on Letraset’s 1970s reinterpretation.
