Summer 2017’s semester program for the Catholic University Community of Bielefeld, Germany. The students wanted to “leave the ordinary, to break up with fixed structures the Catholic Church is known for, getting hands dirty while finding new paths”. The design concept rigorously implements this approach into a small folded leaflet.
One font, one weight: Charter Bold determines the overall character due to its simple manner and edgy details, offering great readability. Indentation, different font sizes and colours (black and Pantone 805U neon spot colour) structure the content, giving it a bold and minimalist rhythm. The leaflet is printed on greyish-white recycling paper stock—which adds an extra down-to-earth look and feel.
