G2 Kosmos was used as part of the design for the 2019 installment of the annual summer exhibition at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design.

The design was conceived by by Johanna Schäfer, Bruno Jacoby and Moritz Appich. In line with the exhibition‘s theme – collaborative, collective, cooperative – the concept for the graphic identity focussed on showcasing students‘ works. Based on the motif of the holding, helping, displaying or directing hand as individual solutions for the different media used both as advertisement for and for orientation and guidance within the exhibition. For the exhibition posters the plexiglas-covered city-lights throughout the city were used as public exhibition spaces in their own right. A series of 11 posters show collaborative and interdisciplinary works from all departments. Visually connected by the hand-shaped displays, the posters thus functioned as 2-dimensional teasers to the actual event.
