EX-POSED

EX-POSED is a media and entertainment platform that provides education and outreach for teens and adults, helping to broaden beauty standards. It was conceived as an academic Project at Elisava Escola Universitària de Disseny de Barcelona.

With the advent of the digital world we have come to be a facade of what we dream to be. The human race has always followed beauty standards, and though these have changed depending on historical context, they are currently impossible to keep up with. Beauty has become disposable; and therefore, frustration and consumption, constant. It is not only necessary to be up to date, it is necessary to show it.

By deviating from traditional aesthetic norms and utilizing various brand touchpoints, EX-POSED enables users to attain a sense of liberation, prompting contemplation on the true nature of beauty. This is achieved by implementing an atypical use of classical-looking typography, shapes, and colors, resulting in an unconstrained atmosphere.
