Warnery

Warnery Frères succeeded Digney (founded in 1857 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye) and continued to operate as “Fonderie Typographique Digney”. Located at 49 et 51, bd. Saint-Jacques, Paris. Flourished 1875–1892. [MacMillan & Krandall, Devroye] Known in the 1920s as Fonderie Warnery & Cie., 8 rue Jean-Dolet. Several of their releases in the 20th century are derived from German designs.
