J.M. Bergling

John Mauritz Bergling, Swedish-born American lettering artist, 1866–1933. Author of Art Monograms and Lettering, Ornamental Designs and Illustrations, and Heraldic Designs and Engravings (1913). His Art Alphabets and Lettering was first published in 1914 and expanded through three subsequent editions, culminating in an enlarged fourth edition in 1923.
