McCallum Layton
McCallum Layton is a research agency and marketing insight consultancy based in Leeds, England. Their current branding and the website was designed by Jason Kinouchi in 2012. The challenge was to bring the well-trusted research company up-to-date with the fast moving research sector:
Playing with the first characters of both founders names; ‘ML’ was created into a single mark, utilising the Jubilat typeface to give the company a little more character. The forward slash ‘/’ in the logo can also be utilised as a playful, decorative element across the company’s documents and media.
Darden Studio’s Jubilat is used not only for the logo, but also on the website (developed by Jonathan Rich) as well as in studies and other publications.
