Live at the Village Vanguard is a live album by the amazing jazz drummer Elvin Jones, recorded in 1968 at the Village Vanguard, NYC, and released on the Munich-based Enja label in 1974. The image above shows a Japanese re-release from 1999, which is based on the original cover by Weber/Winckelmann. The title in mixed-case Pump with all-lowercase Horatio seems to be a later addition — the Enja release as pictured on Discogs or in this video doesn’t have it. It was probably introduced with the 1986 reissue, see below.
