Watching Toy Story as an adult interested in typefaces results to a whole lot of screenshot breaks.
The airlock display of the Spaceport Entry at Pizza Planet is set in Moore Computer. This typeface was created to resemble machine-readable numbers and as such it seems as a sensible choice to evoke technological advancement including – of course – space exploration. “Spaceport Entry” uses caps from Pasadena Heavy.
Pizza Planet is a sci-fi-themed restaurant with arcade games including robot guards in knight’s armor at the entrance. According to Wikipedia, there is a Pizza Planet reference in almost every Pixar feature film.
