Eine Krise bekommen (Visuelle Kultur Band 2, Schriftenreihe) was published by Kathrin Peters of the University of the Arts Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin). This collection of student essays was designed by Katharina Brenner and Lucie Jo Knilli, and edited by Destina Atasayar, Sarah Böttcher, Katharina Brenner, Lucie Jo Knilli, and Luisa Herbst. The reader was printed at Gallery Print Berlin, set in HAL Colant by HAL Typefaces and features illustrations by Sarah Böttcher throughout. The publication is available digitally under Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND – 4.0 International).

The students of the Berlin University of the Arts are having a crisis. They are angry about injustice and discrimination and write with a critical eye about the effects of the pandemic, ambivalent identities and the political responsibility of the art academy.
