Urania

Italian type foundry based in Milan. In 1908 Urania and their competitor Nebiolo in Turin formed a joint venture (or cartel) named Società Augusta. In 1918, Augusta was dissolved; Nebiolo and Urania merged under the name Fonderia di caratteri e Fabbrica di macchine Ditta Nebiolo & Comp., see Nebiolo.
