Founded in 1866 by Emil Gursch, A. Hoffman and Hermann Engel. Acquired the Heinrich Ehlert & Co. foundry in 1867. Together with Berthold, Gursch acquired the Otto Tech foundry in 1917. Merged with Berthold in September 1917. [Reichardt/Hoefer]
